Sheep & Goat Committee Donations

All fundraiser proceeds will be used toward purchasing awards at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo^TM Open and Youth Sheep and Goat Shows and the Sheep Dog Trials. Cash Donations will be accepted in the form of "Paddles Up" during our Live Auction Event that will be held via zoom on October 28, 2020 (see the Event Details page for a full schedule of the evening). The Sheep and Goat Committee has several award donor level opportunities to support our Open and Youth Exhibitors. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a Section 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. The amount of the contribution that may be deductible for Federal Income Tax purposes is the excess value contributed by the donor over the value of goods or services received. About Us

Sheep and Goat Committee

This committee is responsible for greeting and working with four different sets of exhibitors/shows: Breeding Sheep, Dairy and Boer Goats, Sheepdog Trials and Jr. Market Goat Show. Committee members also assist the superintendents in the judging rings to coordinate individual class competition. The goal of the Sheep & Goat Committee is to offer each exhibitor an enjoyable show experience as well as helping to educate the public about these specific industries.
