TEST DEMO VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

The Dosey Doe & Ewe Too Sheep & Goat Auction Fundraiser is open to all supporters of the Houston Livestock Show and RodeoTM and the HLSR Sheep & Goat Committee. We ask for all person to register to bid to participate in either our silent or live auctions. All items are available to bid via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Each item has a picture, description, and a lot number. Persons desiring to bid may do by registering to bid and accessing the Greater Giving platform. Each increase in bid must meet or exceed the minimum increment assigned to each item.

The Online Silent Auction will open on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10 a.m. The Silent Auction packages will close at Noon on Friday, October 30, 2020. Our Live Auction will take place live and virtual through ZOOM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Link will be sent out to all registered bidders, so please make sure that you are registered to bid. At the close of Silent and Live Auction, all lot winners will be notified by an HLSR Sheep & Goat Committee member to coordinate pick up within 10 days of the close of the auction. All items not picked up and paid for by Friday, November 6, 2020 shall be donated back to 2021 Sheep & Goat Committee Fundraiser. By bidding, the bidder agrees to be bound by these conditions of purchase.

 

ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE MADE. All payments must be made by credit card (AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA) by the end of the event on October 30, 2020.

The seller does not warrant and expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible or liable for the accuracy of the description of the items offered, or the correctness of the catalogue, including, but not limited to: the origin, rarity, age, rating, genuineness, quantity, aging potential, present and future quality or condition of the wines or other lots described. All statements by seller are merely statements of opinion and are not to be relied upon by prospective purchasers as warranties or representation of fact.

 

All items are sold “AS IS.”

All trip, dining and activity packages are sold as described. Substitutions of destinations, itineraries, facilities, accommodations, dates or associated activities are not available through seller and requests for same will not be accepted.

Any trips or events comprising all or part of an auction lot shall, unless otherwise specified in the lot description, be subject to convenient scheduling by the lot donors and the successful bidder. Attention: Some trips and events are date specific and cannot be rescheduled.

Auction items must be used prior to the expiration date listed on the certificate or, if no expiration date is explicitly stated, within one year of this auction, unless otherwise agreed to by the seller. Seller does not make any representation of warranty and is not responsible for the quality or usability of any items sold.

 

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a Section 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. The amount of the contribution that may be deductible for Federal Income Tax purposes is the excess value contributed by the donor over the value of goods or services received.
